1 · Sign up at developer.ebay.com

Open developer.ebay.com/join and create a developer account using your eBay seller email.

2 · Create a Production keyset

Go to developer.ebay.com/my/keys. Under Production, click Create a keyset. Copy the App ID, Cert ID, and Dev ID.

3 · Enable the Production keyset

New keysets are disabled by default. Go to developer.ebay.com/my/push/?env=production, toggle Exempted from Marketplace Account Deletion ON, leave the default reason selected, and click Submit.

4 · Create a RuName

Go to developer.ebay.com/my/auth?env=production. Click + Add eBay Redirect URL. Fill in:

• Display Title: any name (e.g. KAISA)
• Your auth accepted URL: https://ebay.reachid.io/api/ebay/callback
• Your auth declined URL: https://ebay.reachid.io/login
• Your privacy policy URL: any URL (e.g. https://ebay.reachid.io/privacy)

Save. Copy the auto-generated RuName.

5 · Create Business Policies

Sign into ebay.com/bp/manage with your seller account (not the developer account). Create one each of Shipping, Return, Payment. Defaults are fine. Click each policy and read the numeric ID from the end of the URL.

6 · Paste & connect

Open Settings. Paste everything from steps 2, 4, and 5. Click Save settings, then Connect eBay. After consent, click Fetch from eBay to auto-create the Merchant Location Key.
